Alongside school and daily life, Jacinta has had to overcome challenges from a young age, requiring care, consistency, and resilience over time. With the support of our program’s bursary, she was able to complete her tailoring course and gain a practical skill she can carry into adulthood.
Earlier this year, we organised the purchase of a sewing machine for Jacinta and brought it to Bamba. She was very excited to finally have her own machine. Jacinta is now sewing from her home, taking on small jobs for neighbours and gradually building up her own tailoring business.
